Bless Africa Directors
The Board of Bless Africa is currently made up of three people. They all have experience in Africa and desire to serve its people. They are (from left to right):
David Glade: David is the Rector of Christ the King, an Anglican Church in Alexandria, VA. He has made several trips to Kenya in support of non profit work there.
Getachew: He is an American of Ethiopian origin and is our main partner who currently lives in Kenya, dividing his time between Nairobi and Isiolo. He has been a blessing to the Isiolo region and is coordinating the projects we are supporting there.
Jerry Baker: Jerry is a retired career Navy Captain who then worked for 14 years as a consultant to the DoD Military Health System. He is a Director for another non-profit that funds the drilling of water wells in East Africa. He has traveled to Africa upon a number of occasions in association with non-profit activities.
Kelley Cantrell: Kelley holds a M.A. in International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs of The George Washington University. She works for Management Systems International, a management consulting firm based in Arlington, VA. Her work supports U.S. Government foreign assistance programs managed by the State Department, USAID, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Many of these programs are implemented in Africa, and Kelley has traveled to several African countries in the context of her work.
